Working with a previous client, which turned into a key investor, we were able to create this project from concept to completion using his piece property located in Elkins Meadow. This speculative project came to fruition after studying the market and realizing there was a niche for a single family luxury home in the Steamboat Springs real estate market. Using our design build methodology, we were able to create a main level living floor plan with a lower level walk-out. The overall design was considered mountain contemporary with simple roof lines and regional forms and materials used on the exterior. Throughout the construction process, a buyer was captured six months prior to completion. The owners then contracted our in house interior designer to help finish the inside of the home. The exterior of the home consists of multiple sustainable materials and fits into the site flawlessly. The owners hired Soda Mountain Maintenance to maintain the home and manage their property's needs. The location of this home and proximity to town is unique. There are world-class fishing ponds just outside the door and access to the Fish Creek Canyon just a quarter of a mile up the road.
